Reading: The students have found a problem and solution in their book.  Next, they will be working on the plot or action steps the characters take to get to their solution.
See the final product on our bulletin board later this week!
In case your child forgets their practice book here is a PDF of the whole book: Treasures: Practice Book O

Art: Students need to have their rough draft drawing ready to go on Friday.  The students are creating digital flipbooks about a topic they have tried at failed, tried again and succeeded.  The whole year I encourage you to use the words how "Failure Leads to Success."  We can learn from our past mistakes.
Library Days: Thursday is our library day.  Please help your student remember to bring their library books back Thursday morning.

Scholastic Book Club:  You may place book orders online through Scholastic Book Club through Friday, September 26th.  Check out the catalog online.  Please use our parent code to log in and order your books.  There is also a scholastic link to the Book Club page on the right side of this blog.  Happy Reading!
