News and Notes for May 9th-13th

Math: In Math this week the students will work on lessons 85 and 86and have a test Thursday.

Reading: Students will be working on identifying actions in a story then making judgements of characters and the plot while reading a play Ranita, the Frog Princess.

Art: Students have been working on creating Pablo Picasso inspired pieces with their oil pastels.

Library Days: Please return any and all library books as soon as possible.  Please be sure to thank Mrs. Senske and Mrs. Headrick for their volunteer work to get to the library up and running each year.  Mrs. Senske will be officially retiring at the end of this year.

Scholastic Book Club:  You may place book orders online through Scholastic Book Club through Friday, May 20th.  Check out the catalog online.  Please use our parent code to log in and order your books.  There is also a scholastic link to the Book Club page on the right side of this blog.  Happy Reading!

Save those BOX TOPS!
Each class will compete to collect the most box tops for the school.  The box tops are collected and turned in for money used to support the school.  Please feel free to bring in your BOX TOPS whenever you have them.
