News and Notes Week of February 29th-March 4th

Math: In Math this week the students will work on lessons 70 and Investigation 7 and a test on Wednesday.

Reading: Students will be working on a writing project with a global audience through Twitter and Skype.  Students will be reading and writing about their self created animal as we read the Night Zookeeper. 



Art: Students are finalizing their watercolor paintings from falling back in space.

Library Days: Thursdays are our library day please help remind your student to bring back all library books on Thursdays.

Scholastic Book Club:  You may place book orders online through Scholastic Book Club through Friday, March 25th.  Check out the catalog online.  Please use our parent code to log in and order your books.  There is also a scholastic link to the Book Club page on the right side of this blog.  Happy Reading!

News and Notes for February 16th-19th

Miss Kolpin, Our Student Teacher
Miss Kolpin will be ending her time with us in 4th grade.  She has planned some great lessons for your children while she has been here.  We are excited to be able to assist her as she nears the end of her education and gets ready for a classroom of her own. The 19th of February will be her last day with us.  She will move on to the 4 year old class at Glendale to complete her student teaching.  She will graduate in May from Concordia University - Seward, Nebraska.
