Reading: Students will be working on cause and effect while reading Wild Horses a narrative nonfiction story.

Art: Students have been working on designing and creating their own mosaic brick with my mother-in-law, Mrs. Endorf.  Please let your child's brick dry out over the next three weeks, outside is preferable.  After that time period if you would like to bring the brick inside, we suggest glueing a piece of felt or fabric to the bottom so that the brick does not scratch your surface inside.

Library Days: Thursdays are our library day please help remind your student to bring back all library books on Thursdays.

Scholastic Book Club:  You may place book orders online through Scholastic Book Club through Friday, April 29th.  Check out the catalog online.  Please use our parent code to log in and order your books.  There is also a scholastic link to the Book Club page on the right side of this blog.  Happy Reading!

Click the link to see what students are learning in Music with Mrs. Killian.  Please help your student prepare for the operetta!  The fourth graders have the main parts in the operetta this year.  Mrs. Killian will give them more details about how this will work and what parts they will need to practice during their music class.

Check out Mrs. Brannan's blog for updates on memory work, science, social studies, field trips, and much more!

Take time to worship with your family this weekend.
CCLS partners with five Lutheran Churches in the area.
