Field Trip Reminders

Parents,

Please note the upcoming field trips (April 22nd and 29th) on your calendar.  We would love to have you join us if possible.  Please let your child's teacher know as soon as possible if you will be accompanying us on either or both of these trips.

Friday, April 22nd

• Magic House from 10:15-11:45 (leave school at 10 a.m.)
• Star-Spangled Field Trip - learning about how laws are made
• Parents please email Mrs. Endorf if you can join us: KEndorf@ccls-stlouis.org
• We NEED one adult for each 5 children.  Please consider coming.
• I have to have a head count before we enter the Magic House.
• The cost is $6/adult - your TADS account will be charged
• membership passes are not valid for field trips
• Parents please meet us at the Emerson Education Center Entrance
• Laumeier Sculpture Park
• Lunch at 12:15 p.m.
• You may choose to order a sack lunch through the school cafeteria
• teachers need to know by 8:30 a.m. on Friday morning
• Scavenger Hunt at 1:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.
• Explore the park with your group
• Your child's TADS account will be charged $11

Friday, April 29th (leave school at 9:40 a.m.)

• FIRST Robotics Competition - combining the excitement of sports with science and technology students will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn from students from around the world.  Check out their website http://www.stlouisfirst.org/ .
• 10:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
• Please consider going with us--the more parents we have, the smaller the groups can be, and the more fun and learning will happen. Please email Mrs. Endorf if you can join us: KEndorf@ccls-stlouis.org
• Bring a sack lunch - we will eat lunch at the convention center
• In the past most groups pick a spot to eat around the convention center; there are benches, tables, etc around the building
• You may choose to order a sack lunch through the school cafeteria
• teachers need to know by 8:30 a.m. on Friday morning
• Your child's TADS account will be charged $5
