Reading: Students are reading the book, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.  As they read the book they are answering questions about the chapters and working on reading skills such as fact and opinion, cause and effect, character descriptions and plot/setting details.

Art: Students will be working on a western-style art project by making WANTED posters.  Later, the students will be writing Tall Tales about their character. 

Library Days: Thursdays are our library day please help remind your student to bring back all library books on Thursdays.

Scholastic Book Club:  You may place book orders online through Scholastic Book Club through Friday, December 11th.  Check out the catalog online.  Please use our parent code to log in and order your books.  There is also a scholastic link to the Book Club page on the right side of this blog.  Happy Reading! **If you are placing a Christmas book order and would like me to give the books to you instead of your student please let me know.**

Save those BOX TOPS!
Each class will compete to collect the most box tops for the school.  The box tops are collected and turned in for money used to support the school.  Please feel free to bring in your BOX TOPS whenever you have them.
