Reading: Students are working on selecting the Main Idea and Details from stories about Our National Parks.  These can be found in our reading books on pages 72-79.

Art: We watched a short clip about how Michael Jordan failed plenty of times but in the end those failures led him to succeed in the game of basketball.
Each student is reflecting on a topic in their life on how they have tried to complete something but have failed only later with hard work found they could succeed.  Students are wrapping up their film projects of showing how "Failure Leads to Success".  They will be posted in the next week.

Library Days: Thursdays are our library day please help remind your student to bring back all library books on Thursdays.

Scholastic Book Club:  You may place book orders online through Scholastic Book Club through Friday, September 25th.  Check out the catalog online.  Please use our parent code to log in and order your books.  There is also a scholastic link to the Book Club page on the right side of this blog.  Happy Reading!
