Newsletter September 8th - 12th

Math: In Math this week the students will work on lessons 12-16.

Reading: Please check out your student's final reading project on plot, problem, and solution hanging outside of our classroom!
This week students will be working on identifying main characters of a story and listing their character traits.  We will read two stories from our reading book in addition to using picture to books to practice inferring character traits.

Art: Students are working on their digital flip book on a situation that shows how "Failure Leads to Success".
Library Days: Thursday is our library day.  Please help your student remember to bring their library books back Thursday morning.

Save those BOX TOPS! Box Top Collection Day Friday, September 12th!!
It's time for our first Box Top collection day, so get all those Box Tops you have been saving over summer and turn them into your classroom teacher.  Ask Grandma, Aunts and Uncles if they have any.  As always the winning class in each category will receive a classroom treat for collecting the most.  Remember, your BoxTops help fund the technology at our school!
