We had another enjoyable week in 4th grade.

Please make sure to tell Mr. Fishburn congratulations as he heads back to Seward, NE for his graduation ceremony. Lucky for us, he will be returning next year as one of our 3rd grade teachers.

Math:  Review Monday and Test Tuesday! Investigation 10 and Lesson 91

Reading: We will begin reading the story "Exploring the Undersea Territory". We will work with vocabulary, fact or opinion and identifying inferences.

Book Report: Most of our reading this week will be working on the book report.  Students should read through their script at home to make sure it flows well and that they completely summarized their book.  To record their themselves reading, I used the a free app on an iPad called BejBej Voice Recorder Pro.  If you would like to download the app at home so they can record their book report that would be great.  If not we will be recording all week long.  Any app will work as long as it can convert their recording to an MP3.

To use the app

1) Record their Book Report Summary; it will be in a MP4 format

2) Change Title to their First and Last Name

3) Convert file to MP3

4) Save only the MP3 file to their Google Drive
