for the food pantry in Kirkwood. Items will be collected through
Wednesday, December 11th. Please bring items to the classroom. Our goal is to raise 1,000 items to donate to the food pantry. Thank you for any help!
CCLS Middle School Basketball Game
The 4th grade students will travel to the Middle School campus on Wednesday, December 11th.
They will have an opportunity to eat lunch, tour the campus with student ambassadors, and cheer on the Charger's Basketball Team. Students are invited to bring cash for the concession stand that will be open during the game.
We will have the students back to the Elementary campus around 3:15 p.m. If you would like to pick up your student from the middle school please email Mrs. Brannan or myself. Everyone else will arrive back at the Elementary campus for our usual pick up.
Math: This week students will complete Lessons 47-51. Next week we will have a test on Tuesday.
Reading: From now until Christmas we will be reading through the book, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
There will be a project, questions, vocabulary, and group work with
this unit. Students are creating a Google Site to post information
about the book. We recently created the sites, there will be more
information posted as we work through the book.
Here is my site, that includes vocabulary and more information that will be posted throughout the course of the book.
Art:
This week students are learning about artist Henri Matisse. They
studied his artwork that he completed in the later part of his life.
Henri called this art work "Drawing with Scissors". We completed one example in class and will work on another project this week.
